The Cookham Copas Turkey Trot 5 Mile Race - 4th October 2015
This is the nation's most authentic Turkey Trot, on turkey farm land, with turkeys as prizes! After the success of hosting our 5k race as part of the TVARC Summer Series Tom and Brenda Copas have graciously allowed us to hold our first open race on their land around Mount Farm. It takes place on 12th October 2014 at 10:00am. It will be a very scenic 5 mile traditional cross country race, an undulating route that is entirely off road through beautiful countryside with fabulous views across the county.

Fees for the Turkey Trot: £10 Affiliated, £12 unaffiliated Maximum number of entrants is 400. Online registrations are at: www.runnersworld.co.uk/cookhamturkeytrot or click on the Runner's World logo above Postal Registrations must be received by 10th October. Please send the entry form below along with a cheque made payable to Cookham Running Club which must be posted to: Turkey Trot Race Entries, Timbers, Sutton Close, Cookham, Berkshire, SL6 9QU .
It may be possible to register on the day if places are still available. Check this website for notification whether places will be available.
The race will start from Mount Farm, Choke Lane, Cookham Dean, SL6 6PL, the car park is approached via Choke Lane.
Cookham Running Club has a thriving junior section so we will be giving younger runners a chance to compete in a junior one mile race. There will be two groups, for age 8-11 and 12-15. The races start at 9.30am.
